Colorado Colorado Background Check Fee
Per Colorado State Law (HB 13-1228), CBI InstaCheck Unit requires all dealer’s to collect a fee of $15.00 to perform a background check when picking up a firearm. This fee will be collected in store, when the background check fee is performed. Please keep this in mind when purchasing a firearm to be picked up at any Colorado dealer location.
